He who shot the sheriff

It was one night like no other, dark. I was in bed when I realised I forgot to close the kitchen curtains. So I strolled downstairs and shut them. Something felt wrong. I turned and opened the curtains to find a poodle with red eyes staining at me. It also had a human body and was wearing a suit. I closed the curtains and pinched myself. I must have been dreaming. I did not awaken though so I ran up to bed again. Before long I had drifted off to sleep. Suddenly, I heard a memorable tune. It was a Bob Marley song. I shot the sheriff but I didn't shoot the deputy. Oh, no no. I opened my eyes and saw something standing at my door. It was the dog man thing I saw earlier. It continuously sang the sound until it used my pillow to smother me. I am as dead as ever.
